INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF THE SAMPLE.ID} FILE:
Complete the fields in the file (delete the square brackets), rename it to
{SDA.ID} (absolute filename) and include it with all of the distribution files
that you send to CDN.
Fieldnames explained:
[DESCRIPTION]: A simple 40-Character description of the entire program. This
line will be transposed into the file description on many BBSs.
[AREA]: The area where you prefer CDN to distribute your program. Must be
one of the following (unless CDN has changed the area tags):
AREA GUIDE
--------- ------------------
CDN_ADM CDN-Administrative (SYSOP ONLY!) Files
CDN_CRCH CDN-Church Support Files
CDN_ECO1 CDN-Message Packets For CDN Areas
CDN_FMLY CDN-Familynet Support Files (Fmlylist, etc)
CDN_GAME CDN-Games With a Christian Flavor

CDN_GRAP CDN-Graphic oriented files
CDN_LIFE CDN-Right to Life Debate

CDN_TEXT CDN-Text Files on Any Christian Topic
CDN_WIN CDN-Christian-Based Windows Applications
[MMMYY]: The Month and Year that the file will likely be processed
eg., JUL94
[KEY_WORDS]: One line of words that would assist in finding the file from a
database.
[FILENAME]: The DOS-standard filename(s) that you prefer CDN to use when
distributing the file. The filename should be in the general form,
XXXXYYZZ.SDN. The extension will be .SDN for all program files.
XXXX is the code name of the program
YY is the version number
ZZ is the disk number (in sequence)
This is a general guide and may be slightly modified. Eg, TEST101A.SDN
could be the filename of TEST version 101a if only one disk is included.
If a second (or more) disk is required, continue the filenames, up to five
on a line (separated by a space). If a second line is required, begin the
sixth filename immediately under filename#1. Hopefully, two lines will be
the maximum number of files required <grin> but you may continue as many
as necessary.
[AUTHOR]: Your First & Last Name
[COST]: Your Registration Fee (or FREE)
[TEXT]: One or more paragraphs which describe the program to potential users
in such a way that they will want to acquire the program. Do not include
such technical information as your installation procedures or how the menus
work. Include the FUNCTIONS and overall concept of use. Max of 50 lines.
[HARDWARE]: List the hardware requirements that your program expects.
[OTHER]: List any other requirements that your program expects.
Be certain to copy the (c)opyright notice VERBATIM at the end.
GENERAL COMMENT: If you do not understand a particular portion of this file,
do the best that you can to satisfy the requirements. It is much easier for
me to just edit an incorrect file than for me to create a file from scratch.
You know the functions of your program and can best sell it to potential
users. That is what this file is supposed to do.
